Little monkeys should give Elche Palmeral Aventuras a go! For slightly older kids, it’s a must-visit attraction, and it’s only 35 minutes away by car. It’s probably best described as Spain’s answer to Go Ape and you can pay as you go, ensuring no massive entrance fees before you know whether your kids will enjoy it. There’s also a boating lake for the younger ones without the adventure-hungry gene just yet.

This is a new and free to enter park with zip-lines, climbing walls and a small boating lake. Think Spain’s equivalent to Go Ape. There’s something for all the family and you pay as you go for certain activities once you decide what you want to go on. We found it is probably better for slightly older children, 8 years plus, although our 4 year old loved pootling around on the boating lake. A really fun few hours out and very well monitored.
